About Me

My name is Kathy Morgan. I graduated from Cameron University with a degree in elementary and early childhood education. I am beginning my seventeenth year of teaching. I have taught first grade, 3rd grade, fifth grade, and Kindergarten. Kinderkids are the best! This is my thirteenth year at Walters Elementary.

I am married to my husband, Chris (Daily). I have 2 grown children--my daughter, Lindsay, is 24 and my son Tanner, is 23. They each have a child of their own, which makes me a (young) "Mimi". Grandkids are great!!

I believe that a good parent-teacher relationship is necessary for maximum school success. Throughout the year I will communicate with you through notes (in the daily folder), phone calls, quarterly reports, parent-teacher conferences, etc. I hope that most of your questions, at the beginning, will be answered in my "ABC's of Kindergarten" pages.

I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time. You may call me at school (875-3144) or cell (467-6679), send me a note, or email me at akmorgan@waltersps.org

I am looking forward to working with your child this year!
