Football Homecoming is Friday, Nov. 30 at 6:15 at Elmer Graham Stadium.

Walters Varsity Choir is planning a Virtual Veterans Video to commemorate their special Veterans Day. Students have been asked to share names of family and/or friends that have been in a United States military branch of service. Due to Covid-19 the annual program presented to commemorate the veterans in our area sadly will not be presented.

The choir is working on special numbers and of course The Star-Spangled Banner to sing while videos/photographs will be shown of our service men and women. We may have to limit the participants to local friends and relatives this year. But, if at all possible, it is the desire of the group to include every contributor.

Wednesday, November 11, 2020 is the official national date for Veterans Day. All videos, photographs, memorabilia will need to be made available by November 4, 2020. . We’re aware this doesn’t allow much time to make the video but a picture with participants in their uniforms would be wonderful. Please list the full name along with the spouse or next of kin, rank, date and location of training/duty.

It would be a great opportunity to connect and share a photo of service buddies or family members in the military. Participants might have a special location in the Walters area to take a picture. It is our desire to pay tribute to those that served their country honorably.

Please contact Charla Dedmon (All material may be taken to the High School Office). Email jcdedmon@waltersps.org **** call/text 580-585-1331 or 580-875-3257
