WHS Sophomores & Juniors -- Thursday, March 12 at 6:00 pm there is a concurrent meeting for parents/guardians of students wanting to sign up for Fall 2026 concurrent classes. We will go over new policies, admission steps, and sign enrollment paperwork.
If you are unable to attend, there will be future meetings. March 23 is when enrollment opens for Western Oklahoma State University. Parents must attend a meeting or set up a time to go over policies and procedures with our WHS school counselor, Mrs. Bussinger. Congratulations to our three Oklahoma State FFA Degree recipients! Seniors Rylee Peer, Cori Wilson, and Ava Woods.
The Oklahoma State FFA Degree is the highest degree that can be awarded at the state level by the Oklahoma FFA Association. It recognizes members who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to agricultural education, leadership development, and Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) programs.

Saturday, February 21, 2026 , some of our Band students traveled to Elgin HS for District Solo/Ensemble competition.
The Brass Bros: our Low Brass Trio (Hunter Curbello, Corbyn Stephens, and Jaxon Kelley) scored a Superior rating and will be advancing to State!
The Trominet Duet: our Clarinet and Trombone duet (Lezlie Belcher and Hunter Curbello) also scored a Superior and will be advancing to State!
The following soloists scored a Superior Rating and will be advancing to State:
