WHS Basketball - Tuesday, December 16 - Girls game starts at 6:00, boys to follow (this is a change from the typical 6:30 start time)
WHS Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors - Early Spring ACT signups are NOW! Cost is $52. Signup sheet is outside Mrs. Buss's door. Test date is Wednesday, February 25 at WHS.
Congratulations to Kash Winkler, WHS Sophomore, for finishing fourth in the average in the Tie-down Roping at the Junior NFR in Las Vegas this past week. Kash competed throughout the year and was the only participant from Oklahoma in the 15U age group to qualify for both the Junior NFR and the Mike and Sherrylynn Johnson’s Vegas Tuffest Junior World Championship. Well done, Kash! We are so proud to have you represent WHS, the Walters community, and Oklahoma at these prestigious events.

The WMS academic team placed Runner-Up in the Regional Tournament in Lawton on December 10. These talented students will advance to the Area Tournament on February 7. WES Student Council volunteered at the Lawton food bank today. WES receives the weekend bags at our school so students wanted to see how bags are processed and give back to the community. Students organized and sorted donations, and put together boxes to hand out to community members when they come to the food bank.

The Blue Devil Pride marched in the Christmas Parade on Saturday! We even received a wonderful message from a community member who shared:
