More awesome news about a graduate! Weston Hoodenpyle (WHS c/o 2003) and his family, wife Lacie and daughter Jayci (currently a sophomore at WHS), were recognized as Oklahoma Farm Bureau's 2024 District 4 Farm and Ranch Family of the year at OKFB's 2024 annual meeting. The Hoodenpyle family focuses on raising stocker cattle that they bring from the eastern U.S. to graze on wheat pasture on their Cotton County, Oklahoma, farm and ranch. The family also has a cow/calf herd in addition to their stocker cattle and farming enterprises. https://youtu.be/9E9wzFwO2M4?si=DLpXoUBh4J8QA1im Courtesy of Oklahoma Farm Bureau

We love to share great news about our graduates! Congratulations to WHS alum Chasen Doye (c/o 2012), for winning the Achievement in Agriculture Award for young farmers in Oklahoma Farm Bureau. His prize is a John Deere Gator from P & K Equipment and a trip to Anaheim, CA! Twenty nine years ago his parents, Thad and Marla (Hilbert) Doye (WHS alum c/o 1986) also won this award and if you look really close you can see little one year old Chasen on the steps of their tractor prize! Congratulations Chasen! Photos and article courtesy of Marla Doye.
