The Walters Public Education Foundation Board recently approved $18,893.75 in grants to elementary, middle school and high school teachers at Walters Public Schools for the 2026-27 school year. Since 1985, over $930,000 has been awarded through the teacher grant and college scholarship programs. WPS cannot thank the Education Foundation enough for their support of our students, teachers, classrooms and learning! Please consider supporting the Education Foundation at the Golf Tournament in June!

WHS G/T students were able to visit the National Weather Service in Norman, last week. Then did a self guided tour of the University of Oklahoma. Special S/O to Walters alumni Scotlyn Ford and Camden LaPierre for showing us around campus and giving the students a peek at dorm life!
