JH Comanche County Tournament - Streaming Information - Thursday and Saturday games are scheduled to begin streaming with the first game each day via NFHS and run through the last game. NFHS only allows a stream to be a certain length, there is Part 1 and Part 2 for both days, you will have to transition to be able to watch all games and it could be during a game depending on how game times run each day.

Walters Public Schools will continue with virtual learning tomorrow, Friday, January 30, 2026.
While the main roads in town, the highways, and most of our campus are clear, there are still several city streets covered. In addition, bus routes remain hazardous, and it is not worth the risk to transport students on those roads.
Students who attend Red River Career Tech will not report to Career Tech tomorrow.
The scheduled basketball game with Waurika has been postponed. If and when a makeup date is scheduled, we will post that information on our school sites.
We want our students back in class as soon as possible, but our top priority is ensuring their safety while traveling to and from school. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we look forward to returning to normal operations on Monday.

Walters Public Schools will transition to Virtual Education tomorrow, Thursday, January 29, 2026. Students that are enrolled in Red River Career Tech will not attend career tech. JH Basketball has been cancelled.
This decision is due to our bus routes and many city streets still being covered in snow and/or ice. In addition, there are areas on our school campuses that continue to have patches of ice. As always, the safety of our students is our top priority, and we do not feel it is worth the risk to return at this time.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to our maintenance department and to John Anderson for working all day to clear the school campus, their hard work and dedication are truly appreciated.
We are hopeful that warmer temperatures tomorrow will help thaw road conditions so that we can safely return to in-person instruction soon.
