WHS Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors - Anyone interested in taking the ASVAB test needs to let Mrs. Buss know via email, there will also be a sign up sheet outside her door when we return in January. The test will be at WHS on Thursday, January 15.

This lesson is based on the OAS standards on area and perimeter of rectilinear shapes. Students work on and make blue prints, to scale images and plans of their house before they build.

A special THANK YOU to Life's Hope for giving WPS the opportunity to pickup enough cupcakes for all the students, faculty, and staff at Walters Public School and Temple Public School! Each school received boxes of cupcakes to help everyone start the holiday break on a sweet note !

Congratulations to Kash Winkler, WHS Sophomore, for finishing fourth in the average in the Tie-down Roping at the Junior NFR in Las Vegas this past week. Kash competed throughout the year and was the only participant from Oklahoma in the 15U age group to qualify for both the Junior NFR and the Mike and Sherrylynn Johnson’s Vegas Tuffest Junior World Championship. Well done, Kash! We are so proud to have you represent WHS, the Walters community, and Oklahoma at these prestigious events.

WES Student Council volunteered at the Lawton food bank today. WES receives the weekend bags at our school so students wanted to see how bags are processed and give back to the community. Students organized and sorted donations, and put together boxes to hand out to community members when they come to the food bank.
